Dual Cartridge
Dual cartridge seals are the answer for applications where a second level of protection is needed. Flex-A-Seal’s Styles 73P and 75P offer system and personnel protection and are designed to ensure compliance with stringent environmental and emissions regulations.
Dual Cartridge
Cost effective version of Style 78, designed for applications in which pumping ring or tangential connection are not required
Dual Cartridge
Incorporated pumping ring improves the movement – and the cooling effect – of the barrier fluid during operation
Dual Cartridge
In certain processes, dangerous and volatile fuids require additional precautions to protect personnel, ensure safe operation, and prevent downtime. The Flex-A-Seal Fluid Containment (FC) Seal has been specifically designed as an economical option for applications where the highest level of safety and environmental control is necessary. The FC Seal allows monitoring of any any primary seal leakage and functions as a secondary containment seal in the event of any primary failure.
Single Cartridge
Heavy duty cartridge design . Self-cleaning rotating bellows . Hydraulically balanced . Multi-point injection arrangement . Piloted gland to positively center seal assembly . Flush, quench, drain gland with 1/2″ NPT for process side and 3/8″ NPT for atmospheric side to help eliminate improper piping assembly . Carbon floating bushing . Metal-to-metal confined gland gasket . Double ply bellows designs available for higher pressures
Single Cartridge
The Style 57 design serves to keep the sealing faces in contact and positively transmits the drive evenly 360° around the full circumference of the rotary face. This is accomplished by the special spring design, which provides an interference fit. The compression spring is wound either right or left hand depending on shaft rotation.
Single Cartridge
Stationary design for maximum face alignment . Robust and reliable seal face drive . Hydraulically balanced . Dynamic O-ring moves to a clean surface . Springs located out of product to prevent clogging and hang-up . Rugged construction for high pressure applications . API compliant with piloted gland to positively center seal assembly and metal-to-metal confined gland gasket which prevents blow out or extrusion of the gland packing
Single Cartridge
Easy cartridge seal installation of the Style 64 stationary high temperature bellows . Proven high performance nesting ripple bellows design . High temperature static grafoil packing throughout seal . Standard AM350 heat treated bellows with Inconel 718 heat treated bellows option available
Single Cartridge
Rotating design uses centrifugal force for self-cleaning . Uniform 360° transfer of torque to the rotating face . Welded metal bellows replace the dynamic elastomer which can hang up the seal faces . No springs to clog or break . No fretting . Only two (2) static elastomers – eliminate seal failures caused by dynamic O-ring “hang up” and offers cost savings when upgrading to Perfluorelastomers . Monolithic rotating seal ring made from a solid, homogenous material and is easily field-repairable
Single Cartridge
Stationary springs and drive pin mechanism isolated from process fluids to minimize corrosion, clogging, and stress-related failures . Unique, metal-shrouded rotary seal ring for maximum face protection and uniform 360° transfer of torque to the rotating face during start up . Dynamic elastomer moves on non-metallic, smooth surface eliminating fretting . Stationary design for optimal face alignment . Floating stationary seat design adjusts for misalignment and is cushioned from vibration, both of which improve face tracking

Single Cartridge
Simple and solid single cartridge seal construction . No dynamic elastomers – the most common failure point with multi-spring pusher seal designs . Only one O-ring (especially economical if perfluoroelastomer required) . Stationary welded metal bellows designed for better alignment . Hydraulically balanced . Seal faces positioned near lantern ring connection for enhanced heat dissipation . Hastelloy® C276 bellows
Single Cartridge
These two single cartridge seals are engineered for the most demanding corrosive applications. By minimizing the number of troublesome O-rings and eliminating any media exposure to the sleeves and glands, we have produced two very cost effective solutions to industries’ toughest applications.
Single Cartridge
Part of Flex-A-Seal’s integrated/platform single cartridge seal design . Patented (Patent Number US 7,979,986) Plunger-Lock drive . Only two static O-rings – cost savings are substantial when perfluorelastomers are required . Rotating welded metal bellows are self-cleaning during operation
Single Cartridge

Split Cartridge Mechanical Seal
Flex-A-Seal developed the Style 85 Split Cartridge Mechanical Seal to provide the easiest installation found anywhere in the world. After simply attaching two halves over the shaft, the seal mounts to the equipment like any other cartridge seal.
Split Cartridge Mechanical Seal
The Flex-A-Seal Style 85M Heavy Duty Split Cartridge Mechanical Mixer Seal applies the same innovative technology we use in our Style 85 Split Cartridge Mechanical Seal but designed specifically to meet the challenges of sealing mixers and agitators, centrifuges and other special rotating equipment.
